I envision a world where people and nature thrive, science informs decisions, and cross-cultural collaboration drives inclusive solutions.

Hailey is a climate resilience and biodiversity conservation specialist with nearly a decade of experience across Africa, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, and the U.S.

As an independent consultant, she helps climate- and nature-focused companies scale their impact through strategic communications, partnerships, project and proposal design. She contributes research and writing at the Center for Global Development on community health and pollutant exposure, designs innovative nature finance proposals with Magnitude Global Finance, and has supported climate tech companies through outreach and storytelling at Climate Hive. She has also produced communications for USAID, the UN, and the Gates Foundation.

Previously, Hailey spent 8 years at Chemonics International designing and advising donor-funded initiatives in ecosystem restoration, wildlife protection, regenerative agriculture, environmental justice, and community development—including a $25M USAID project to counter wildlife poaching and trafficking in Southern Africa, co-designed with community organizations, government agencies, conservationists, and ranger academy partners.

A skilled facilitator and storyteller, she has led panels, strategy sessions, and exchanges in eight countries. At the UNLEASH Innovation Lab in Greenland, Hailey mentored youth climate innovators, judged a pitch competition, and moderated the opening panel on Indigenous- and youth-led climate action. Earlier, with the CSIS Global Food & Water Security Program, she supported research on U.S. government climate-smart agriculture investments and coordinated high-level policy dialogues.

Based in San Diego, CA, Hailey loves growing organic greens, spotting octopi in tide pools, and substitute teaching at Rad Roots Nature School. She recently founded Sea:Grass Sessions (www.seagrasssessions.com), intimate storytelling gatherings where local Earth stewards—from Indigenous farmers to kelp forest scientists—share stories of regenerating nature and community, from the sea to the grass.
